I remember Mum as a lady full of life and would like to go dancing to the many occasions she shared with Dad. Unfortunately she developed diabetes and also arthritis, which kept her unable to get about very well, let alone dancing. In April 1995 she had a stroke and a week later she died in hospital. Dad was very upset and lived on for another 13 years. Their four daughters looked after him in their own different ways. We hope now they are together again, hand in hand, watching over us. Miss you both but you are nearing your birthdays and we'll send messages to you then. Love to you both xxxx

On Angel Wings

On angel wings you do fly
On angel wings into the sky
On angel wings i do cry
Because those angel wings took you away
On angel wings the heralds sing
Is there no such lovely thing?
On angel wings you fly away.
I will see these angel wings again someday
When i am old and my time has come
On angel wings I will fly
Until I'm holding you once again
Smiling on angel wings.

Merry Christmas

Mum it's been an emotional day for me, thinking of you and Dad, not having one or the other to share the excitement with. I hope you and Dad have been able to share some of our Christmas' either here or Helen's, Karen's or Lynne's.

I miss and think of you always. Happy Christmas, love Enis xx

Your Birthday

Remembering you on your birthday Mum. I expect we would be having another party if you were still here, the same as it would have been for Dad's 90th last week. We hope you are together and at peace with everything. Happy Birthday to you from Helen, Reg and all the family. xxx

Mum, what can I say. When I think of mum your were my role model, my adviser, my protector. You was always there to help me in whatever I chose to do, be it right or wrong. You always picked up the pieces, and showed me how to carry on. When you left us I felt as if my world had fallen off the planet. What you gave to me as I grew up helped me to lay you to rest and carry on.

Dad joined you in February and I know in my heart you are both together, watching over all of us.

Mum I love and miss you everyday, I am so proud that you were my mum.

Always in my heart Enis xx
